Michele Denegri

CHAIRMAN

Born in 1969 in Turin, he graduated in 1994 from the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Turin.

After attending a training course at KPMG Consulting, in 1997 he moved to New York where he worked in investment in the real estate sector.

Upon his return to Italy in 2001, he participated in the establishment of the Private Equity Fund "Industria e Finanza Sgr" and in the management of its investment activities.
He held numerous operational positions in the various subsidiaries of the Fund; worthy of mention is his work at Digicast S.p.A., a leading company in telematic television publishing that contributed to the creation of Italian digital television.

In 2007 he became CEO of Finde S.p.A. and of its subsidiary Ip Investimenti e Partecipazioni S.p.A., a private and independent financial company with which he continues to invest in the Private Equity and Venture Capital sectors, through the use of equity capital and with an investment strategy focused on the medical technology sector, in particular in the cardiovascular and orthopedic sectors.
He also holds operational positions in various investee companies, including CID Implantable Devices and Corin Group Orthopedic.

Since 2013, in addition to his investments in real estate, Private Equity and Venture Capital, he has been active with a series of major initiatives in the social enterprise sector through a private non-profit Foundation.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Diasorin S.p.A. since 2003; he held the position of Vice President there from 2013 until 2022, when he assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors.
